This two-part video campaign for Saildrone was developed to give insight into their brand and mission, calling attention to their background in ocean research, their current work in defense, and the unveiling of their updated "Surveyor" USV.

 

"Securing the Global Maritime Domain" was unveiled at the 2024 Sea-Air-Space Conference, and features footage from Saildrones deployed off the coast of Hawaii and Florida, motion graphics which demonstrate Saildrone capabilities, and staged command center shots filmed at Saildrone's Alameda Headquarters.

"Saildrone Surveyor: Purpose-built for Long-term, Long-range Autonomous ISR and Deep-ocean Mapping" features footage captured of Surveyor's first deployment off the coast of San Francisco. 

 

As of October 2025 Lockheed Martin has backed Saildrone with $50m.
